Did you know that there are
really just (2) types of coffee beans that exist.
Arabicas have a wider taste range, between varieties. They range in taste from sweet-soft to sharp-tangy. Their unroasted smell is sometimes likened to blueberries. Their roasted smell is “perfumey” with fruity notes and sugary tones. (Use a picture of a Robusta bean)Robustas taste range is neutral to harsh -and they are often described as tasting grain-like, “oatmeally”. (Burnt tires is the description that I personally find most accurate). Their unroasted smell is often described as “raw-peanutty”. While there are high quality robustas on the market, they are rare and they are generally reserved exclusively for expresso.
Cook’s Coffee uses ONLY the finest Aribica beans in the world.
Cook’s Coffee beans are 100% hand-picked from our
exclusive high altitude plantations in Central and
South Americas. This region of the world offers the
ideal growing climate and terrain for a complex and
unique taste that’s just not found in other coffees.
While most of our gourmet coffee blends do have a
percentage of beans that come from Columbia, the
remainder of the Arabicas comes from the Andes Mountain
Region, Costa Rica, Equador, Guatemala, Nicaragua,
and Venezuela. This regional diversity provides a
considerable variety of distinct tastes. When our
professional, small-batch coffee roasters mix these elements
and attributes, we are able to fusion together a taste that’s
100% Natural, 100% Unique and 100% Delicious!
